Terms Of Service

We have never needed to sell off someone's mount but just to be sure that everyone understands our policies, here is Skull Masters Taxidermy's terms of service for both our website and for our business. If you have any questions, please ask before you make a purchase or commission any work from us. If you do not agree to these terms of service, do not use our website or conduct business with us. 

We only obtain wildlife or artifacts from legal and ethical sources. Skull Masters Taxidermy assumes no liability for buyer's purchase, possession or sale of any wildlife product(s) prohibited in the buyer's state, province or country. By placing an order and accepting delivery, buyer agrees to pay any and all legal fees incurred by Skull Masters Taxidermy arising from said wildlife/artifact transfer of ownership. 

Commissioned work requires a nonrefundable 50% deposit at the time the order is placed. The remaining balance is due before the item is shipped or picked up. Any items that are not paid in full and/or picked up within 30 days of project completion will be considered abandoned and will be disposed of by Skull Masters Taxidermy. No refunds once the process of work has begun. All shipping, tanning and taxidermy work is done at the customer's risk. We are not responsible for the condition of or for the return of meat. All specimens registered must have been taken in accordance with all applicable wildlife laws.

Because of the nature of these items, we do not accept returns or exchanges on custom or personalized orders or items on sale. You must get prior return authorization from us within 10 business days of original delivery for returns or exchanges. Returns need to be completed within 30 days of original delivery. No COD returns will be accepted. Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs. There are no refunds on the original shipping costs. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value. We carefully pack and insure all packages, so if there is any in-transit damage, you (the buyer) will be responsible for making a claim with the shipper. 

We are not responsible for any customs or import taxes. We are not responsible for any delays due to customs.

We do not accept cancellations but please contact us if you have any problems with your order.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, you hereby consent to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the courts in Oakland County, Michigan USA in any or all disputes arising out of or relating to the use of the Skull Masters Taxidermy website or the Skull Masters Taxidermy business.
